Specialized OCD & Anxiety Therapy in Montrose
OCD & Related Disorders
Obsessive-compulsive disorder involves more than being neat or organized. OCD often includes intrusive thoughts, urges, or images that create intense distress and lead to compulsions aimed at finding relief.
Using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), we help clients learn to tolerate uncertainty, reduce compulsive behaviors, and build trust in themselves again.
Anxiety Disorders
Anxiety can affect your sleep, relationships, work performance, and overall quality of life. Rather than simply teaching symptom management, we help you understand the patterns keeping anxiety in place and develop new ways of responding.
We treat: Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety, Specific Phobias, Health Anxiety, Agoraphobia & Trauma-related anxiety.
Parenting an Anxious Child
Supporting an anxious child can feel overwhelming. Many parents naturally adapt their routines to help their child avoid distress, only to discover that anxiety continues to grow.
Using the evidence-based SPACE model, we help parents reduce accommodation while increasing supportive responses that foster resilience and independence.
Living with OCD or anxiety can convince you that your world needs to get smaller to stay safe. Effective therapy can help you reclaim the parts of your life that fear has taken away.
At Houston OCD & Anxiety, we're passionate about helping people face uncertainty, build confidence, and move toward the lives they want to live.
When you're ready to get started, we're here to help.
